Foolishly took a gig working away from home, so with house renovations, life etc, truck time has been reduced.
But now I’ve got a big drum of fiberglass resin and two bags of vermiculite, ain’t no stopping me now!!
Have to squint and use a LOT of imagination.
Front part of the frame is made, needed to do this whilst the ‘lift-off’ part was on the truck, to make sure it kinda blended to the cab shape.
The remainder of the shape will be formed with: polystyrene blocks, crates, expanding foam, pizza boxes etc. covered in plaster:vermiculite (30:70)
I will staple a fleece blanket over the wooden frame and spray with resin.
This will provide enough rigidity to allow me to fiberglass inside & out.
