It will be interesting to see when it arrives what output power it actually is seeing as lasers are usually measured in mW and I think anything over 1.5mW is illegal in australia.

As far as I know the limit on lasers is on laser lights, designed to stop idiots from blinding the pilots of areoplanes. I doubt that a deruster would have the same effect and Lang is a pilot so he would not do that.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

All you naysayers! Just got the shipping tracking advice from the seller. The price is US dollars.

Is it 110 or 240 volts, Lang?

Hi Lang. So this is comming from the US? On another Forum there is a thread runing at the moment about deliveries from the US. One mob UPS and Fedex are a bit slow or dead slow at the moment in getting small parcels out here even with tracking numbers etc. Hop yours gets here quick.

Cobba

The tracking says Chinapost so I guess it is coming from Chinatown in San Francisco.

Sarge

How quick do you want. According to the expected arrival dates when it arrives it will be delivered last week.

V8

I don't think there will be much problem them guessing it is 240V for Australia as of the 201 countries in the world only three operate on 110V

I reckon it will be 240V, many US houses have 110 and 240 wiring.

Plus China runs 240volts and uses the same plug as us.

I received 2 parcels from the States a couple of weeks ago. 5 days from order to landing on my doorstep.

About a month ago I ordered some stuff from Coffs Harbour to go to Nambucca Heads ( give or take about 50 kms ).
It took 14 days to make the journey.
