I was looking at
www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au
the other night and it show a 108 dodge 1960 kit which is the same animal cab wise . I did get my 1960 windscreen re-rubbered at my local windscreen mob so that should not be a drama.

Made up a trolley for the cab to sit on tonite. Cleaned out some of the crap inside and removed the seat. Floor is in really good shape compared to mine, and also that it was covered in damp red dirt.
Right side floor has patch bolted in and some angle welded in where the cab cracked on the mount.

interesting hand signal thingy. looks very neat and tidy compared to those that drop down the side of the truck

The hand signal was jammed shut but plenty of CRC and trans fluid freed it up.
Stripped doors and glass out of it plus the wiring and gauges and a few other bits. This cab has rusted/cracked down the bottom of the front pillar on both sides and has been patched up on the drivers side. The other cab is not as bad in both front corners so im thinking of cutting it here on the seams and then through the seams in the top of the front pillar and then across the top of windscreen and just swap fire wall, cowl and window opening all in one hit. The front lower floor to fire wall is a bolt in piece so would not need to cut floor.

Yer it a late model one, the last of the pilot house cab and was used through to 62. Have got a tilt tray sorted for in a couple a weekends and she is being moved to a mates place near by. I gotta go up there and put some front wheels on it. Its 250km up from Perth in the wheatbelt.

Well went and checked out the blue truck a few weekends ago and im very happy with it i have to say. Young guy in the car club put me on to it anyway took some wheels up and got on it and moved it so a tilt tray could move it back to a guy from the car clubs place about 20 kays away and then i can work out how i can get it back to perth from Doodlakine. The cab is really good has minor rust in front floor behind front wheels and then a bit in both front gards. Bonnets, nose cone and left door are rust free, right door is damaged from over opening both dented on out side and bent around hinges and the front bumper is bent from towing from it. Tray is also really good and i will use it,it is also a Howard Porter tray but with timber floor. The chassis is bent at the rear cross member from towing also. So with the right door and bumper off the early truck i have all i need. Its like the trucks were ment to become one. The broken wheels studs on the left side made me laugh who ever did it did not give up after they broke the first one, 3 on the front and 1 on back. The welded wheels to the busted stud on the rear was more of a laugh. I got a bunch of pics back then but my computer chucked a hissy fit and didn't let me put any up. I also got told of a 361 power giant truck so are going to follow this one up and see if i can get a look at it.

That is fantastic! Well done hardtop - keep it up. But please show us the Powergiant. Is that the 4x4 model?
Does anyone know of dual-cab AT4 or D5N in WA?
Cheers, Peter
