Was the Foden that was in the hands of a tractor collector run a Rolls Royce engine? If so it is one sweet sounding trucks when entering the grounds with a load on the back.

Remember back when we used to have vintage truck shows? Here is a link to 2014 Climbing the New England which included a run to Black Mountain Roadhouse. Featured is a still of the Thornycroft back in the day with waitresses standing in front of it and interview with those very same ladies 50 years later! Ian brought the Thorny to the show for a reunion.
