I have no problem with the contact glue sticking, after all nearly every bit of trim on modern cars is stuck on the same way and you never see a 20 year old Corolla with the badges falling off.

Here is another view of the linkage. internet www-ebay-com/itm/174476408496 replace the dashes with dots, as the forum software doesn't like ebay links (also search for Carter CTH2 images)

Glue was different back then.... like try scraping off a 20 year old rego sticker off said Corolla.I have no problem with the contact glue sticking, after all nearly every bit of trim on modern cars is stuck on the same way and you never see a 20 year old Corolla with the badges falling off.

The correct type of windscreen seal for your truck is available from PJs Old-Era Services in NSW, link is www.oldera.com.au .
They have a great range of new restoration items for lots of vehicles on their well laid out website, always found them a good mob to deal with.
