Done in an area where there are VERY few people and done at night when they're in bed, i generally find its ok.

If it was in a populated area id just put it on a truck, but we don't need to as useful advice has shown me what to check and how to proceed.

Cheers.
Have a stupendous weekend

Does anybody know if seals are available for the master and wheel cylinders?

And where perhaps?!

WA based but can order online if necessary.

Cheers!!

  Ok, bit of an update.

Master is apart and looking pretty bloody reasonable considering the mess in the chamber between it and the booster.
Lip seals ever so slightly damaged but I've definitely driven on worse and can replace them anyway i think.

The jiggly thing in the bottom of both reservoirs has a seal on both sides, a flat and a dome, see photo.
Anyone know if these are available or an alternative can be found / bodged?

Will work on wheel cylinders next, anyone know if seal kits are available if i find they're not rusted out,
Part numbers for those possibly?

Failing that, does anyone know the part number for the cylinders, oem or a reasonable aftermarket or alternative that can be made to fit perhaps?

Narrowing down the issues.
Looking forward to getting her home!!

Thanks again for everyone's help thus far.
It's appreciated!

Power Brakes in SA seem to be able to come up with anything, or at least reco it for you.

I have had very good service from Murray at Victorian Brake Company, phone (03) 5940 1177. What he does not have in stock, he will source for you.

Morris.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Thanks chaps!
Will dig in further and see what I find and ask around more in WA to see if there's anyone more local who may be able to help in the meantime.

Appreciate your help fellas!

Hi,

on another Forum I have just seen a thumbs up recommendation for this WA brake supplier, Perth Brake Parts.

Ah, fantastic.
Cheers mate!!
GT Brake and Clutch in Busselton are bloody good too.
Im waiting to speak with the correct guy there, apparently one of them is pretty cluey on the older stuff like this but wasn't around when I called.
Was a recommendation from a friend and the chap i spoke with was helpful and not phased by the age of the truck.

Unlike most places who tell me my mid 90s utes are "very old" and i won't be able to find parts for.
Hahahahahahahahahaha.
