Chrysler Australia imported a few of these back in the late 50's along with another vehicle the Farmobil company which Chrysler had a stake in. The Matador van was used by the Tonsley park as a factory hack as was the Farmobil.
The Matador was also sold as the Jensen Tempo 1500 in England, who also used the Chrysler V8 engine in its CV8 and Interceptor so maybe that was the connection

84 Austral Tourmaster with 6V92 and now 7 speed Eaton-Fuller, converted to motorhome "Vanishing Point" after a favourite American movie.
3 Kw solar 800 Ah Lithium house battery pack, all engine cooling done by the sun. Water injection for hot days and hill climbs.
