Just keeping up to date
This was removed from the chasis rails today and finally all the rear lights actually work every time
The only edition to the workshop/ truckport was the following
There is no sale but everything has a price but thought would be good for sport watching. Just need a step top box so that I can be political correct and watch things that need translating (Chocs the excess external silastic has been removed)

Ya have done well geoff!
did ya save me the offcuts for a rocket cover gasket!
I ended up with a packed 4 gallon drum of wire out of that 4070!
surprisingly, most everything still worked with it out!

What chocs was actually saying, in a subtle manner .. is that all Cummins engines, go like rockets .. as compared to some other brands .. that go like snails on Valium ..

Well to the new engine cover applied urethane (not salastic for your benefit chocs) and fitted new insulation with out Govt grant
Modern technology should make more comfortable Also new floor plate to fill in behind cover
Keeping in mind this is permeate / temporary fixes till we start full tear down (If this bores anyone please tell someone else)

U should B out hoon n
putn the pedal to the metal
get out n make a mile
put all the screemer power to the ground
n have n fun
LOL
any hints n tips
on the insulation
the only thing we learnt (the hard way)
Iz:
When U put the black urethane as a seal
we apply a smidge of oil on one surface n the other surface apply the ureathane
screw down firm (but dont over do it) best to leave a thikness of 5 mill
then with soapy water drag u're finger round the exposed surface to give it a good finish
24 hours n afew cans later
remove the newly sealed doodadd th@ should freely pull away with the oil under it. by then U should/could/would have a new 5mm gasket seal
remove oil n screw it down again
It aint perfect
butHooIz
Keep them pix cummin
n U aint gunna bore uz nun
LOL
