Capitano1300 - The carburettor you're after is a Stromberg BXUV-3, with a Stromberg code number of 32-3302, and a P/No of 2375019.
The basic BXUV-3 is a common carburettor, fitted to many Holdens & Bedfords .. but each model (code number) of the BXUV-3 is altered slightly with different components to suit the application.
The Stromberg carburettor model you require was also fitted to the C1100, C1200, C1500, C1510, C1600, D1110, D1210, D1310, D1510, and the D1610.
The models it was fitted to, first appeared in 1966 and the last model produced, using this BXUV-3 code number, was in 1978.
You will need a battery of V8 capacity, that has a CCA of around 700 amps, equivalent to something like an N70Z or N70ZZ (Z or ZZ indicates the terminal positioning).
You need to check the dimensions of your battery box, the positioning of the terminals, and go to your local battery supplier armed with the info, the truck model and your tape.
Most battery manufacturers no longer recognise or list the C or D series International trucks of the 60's and 70's .. and to make things worse, they have all branched out into using their own codes numbers and model numbers, so it's impossible to compare different batteries.
Make sure the battery comes with a good long commercial vehicle battery warranty. If they don't want to back it with a decent warranty, they haven't got much faith in their batteries.
2 years should be a minimum warranty period. My personal favourite brand is Century/Yuasa, I once had a Yuasa battery that lasted in excess of 9 years before it gave up.
Cheers - Ron.

I'm happy to stand corrected on this
But i think that,
If it's got a generator, it's positive earth..
If its got an alternator it's negative earth....

I think 'seed is right, but a genny may have since had a polarity change from positive to negative earth. An alternator would be negative earth regardless.I'm happy to stand corrected on thiswould this van also run a positive earth????? i think the trucks did
