g'day mitch .. great effort and looking nice...
what i'm loving too is dad and son(s) enjoying the same interest, and whereby dad and the B model are like hand-in-glove, so is the R model for son as well..
my 22 YO son, recently qualified as a diesel mechanic, has turned his attention to the old '76 slim cabover K125 CR screamer (ex tnt) and i can only encourage him... for the sake of the next generation of young blokes, the rigs of that era, and the blokes who drove them....
keep up the good work and thank you for the pics...cheers

Thank you all very much for the replies!!
Camma - This thing isn't to bad as it has a aircab, it still has the R model kick, but it's only a toy so it's not driven everyday so will probably stay spring.
Greg Wright - For one thing it's needs a proper spray job, the chassis was painted with pressure pack cans in the dirt in the backyard. Plus I have alot of stuff going around my head, alot of people won't like what I'm going to do but oh well I'm not building it for them, just me.
Detective - Ha, well I'm 20 and don't drink, smoke or go out so I got to use the money somehow and this somehow makes me happy I guess ha ha. Be sure to post up and update on the KW!!
Will try and keep it updated now
Thanks,
Mitch

Looking real nice mate, a credit to you, keep up the good work. I drove one brand new in 1983, 300 econodyne, still have a soft spot for the R series.
