That is a fine ute. Great to find one that hasn't had the farmer treatment.

Hey truckiejas - there is another ute same as yours being done up in Goondiwindi Qld except it's a 38 Dodge Coupe ute not Fargo - I pass on the owners details to you.

Thanks heaps for the photos! great stuff! By the way have you any body details besides it being made via TJ Richards - i.e should be plate on the firewall - FC?? or something of that nature - also the engine no. - it's on the left side of the block near the head.

I'm just interested as i have a few details from Chrysler literature and would like to match it up with a vehicle such as this!

cheers, and keep us up to date with your progress!! :)

Hmmm, that first video is from Dumbleyung, W.A. .. and I thought I knew every farmers back paddock around Dumbleyung .. and I thought I got every piece of vintage worth saving, around that neck of the woods. I must have missed one, he obviously wasn't one of my customers!

well got it going today after throwing a new set of plugs in her, she runs well could do with a tuneup kit and leads/coil.
next is the brakes.
the hand brake is covered in oil from the gear box and obviously needs a new seal.
not sure on the wheels yet as i haven't had the drums off but the master cyl is full of fluid, any one have tips on the brakes?

well had a go at the brakes over the last week and it looks like it has gotten moisture in there over time, i have only pulled one drum off so far but it looks like im after 4 wheel cyl kits and may as well do the master cyl while im at it. so where is the best place to get these from, i have found a usa ebay shop the looks like they have them any one in oz to try?

Mate, find a good brake place near you, if they can't get new ones, they just resleeve them in Stainless which will last heaps longer than origonal.

You can send or take your master and wheel cylinders to this mob in Adelaide and they'll resleeve them in stainless steel.
