Back on thread..... heard tonight that NSW is doing away with rego stickers altogether jan next year and that Sth Aus and WA have already done so. In which case the oldies could be legal and represent a bit of the past. Bit like those hand on a stick signals LOL.

They did away with rego stickers on the 1st of July, last year, here. This only applies to vehicles under 4.5 tonnes. It will be interesting to see how many people get caught with unregistered vehicles.

I reckon your right Roses as we have had the case of not receiving a renewal notice only to have the said vehicle out of reg and go through all the Bull$&it to get it redone

Qld is also jumping on the bandwagon- it was reported today that they are considering doing away with rego labels.
I think I will keep my collection though- I won't be 'doing away with them'

Hank still has the original Vic rego labels on the quarter window, 1968 & 1985, Im leaving them on, and will replace the window, they look pretty cool
