Hello, Im searching for a 318HEAVYDUTY badge or a pair of them for my D5N that I purchased a while ago and am slowly getting ready for rego. Also can anyone advise me on who rebuilds the steering boxes or who has parts for them. Thanks for any help.

No luck with Hydrosteer, they can't get parts for the old steering boxes and havnt done any for years because of this.

Maros, if you aren't worried about being original, guys I know have adapted landcruiser power steer to the AT4 and D5N, they steer sooo much better. They lay the box on it's side on top of the chassis rail and the pitman arm swings vertically along the outside of the rail. You can use a Saginaw pump from any 70's or 80's Ford or GM car, the pressures are similar. You might want to consider going that way.

Thanks Tony, I may well have to do that. I rebuilt the original box as best I could for the moment and it is better but not perfect.
