Chappo, well done for all the effort that was put in by all the people involved. Now that the "Dash for Dubbo" has concluded, for my part I'm finding life a little less exciting. Yep, I'd love to see some more, especially the dismantling, examining & reassembly of the engine to show some of us what actually can & does go wrong in truck engines. Please continue the story. cheers Tim ;) ;D :o 8-)

BUGGER!!!!!!! When i could not find it on the Saturday i thought it would proberly arrive on Sunday after i left for Broken Hill. Well done to all the team for getting it there. Hope the damage isn't to serious.

wellll,while snooping around the unofficial Kenworth Corral at Rivvo I came across the dash for Dubbo Aerodyne.....minus the bird scarer that did its dash on the way home from Dubbo!
Further investigation found the bird scarer remains partly hidden under some plastic guards.....seems discussions are well under way to replace the power?? plant with something more reliable!
big cams were mentioned which would lead to a little chassis modification but out of left field came the offer of a 400HP VT903 that would just about slip right in.......
the crew were last seen in deep discussions,

The blower suited a W model i think Swisho..
i think it had a hmmm 'funny' air intake arrangement on it..hence the removal etc..
