While the chassis paint hardens up just a little..
Some of the 'smaller' jobs are on the go....
Making sure all the bits that need to be fitted, are cleaned or repaired as necessary..
No use leaving these items till the last minute..
There can be some time sunk into these chores, all the little bits and pieces can quickly turn into days....
chocs
A bit of attention to the ride height valve rod...
Possible bent with all the climbing around..
Cleaning up some of the trim...there are some damaged pieces that may to visit the trimmer..
Everyones favorite job.....polishing tanks.. NOT.....
A bit of braising on a damaged Smurgaloid adapter..
A new one couldn't be sourced within the time frame..

dear chocks you said in one of your posts that the chassis was filled you cannot weld up holes on a chassis or can you just wondering for a future project regards whale
G'day Whale..
Wont matter which way i answer this one..
It will always be a ticklish one..
I have seen:
* chassis holes filled with filler only.
* holes welded fully, then ground and filled for finish.
*plugged with a steel plug and filled for finish.
*sikaflex(flexible eurothane) over filled and sanded back..
I guess it is up to the individual on the day..
Having said that, depending on the position of the holes to be filled, too much heat in some instance, should be avoided..
hope that answers it for you..

All coming along nicely..
Of course there have been a few..hmm..plenty of hickups..
Like every job we do though..there seems to be days of seemingly getting nowhere..
It will all come together though...
As we have said before though the clock is ticking..

I am getting confused as to whether these are the 'goin on' parts or the 'came off' junk..
Now this job is difficult to con someone into...
They only like lookin at the shiny stuff..they don't really like creating it! :
We sent a bloke out for some elbow grease this morning....
Came back with a bottle of purple polish! :
The doors....well they don't look too bad...
Joke Joyce.. But they are able to be salvaged..
A few hours spent here too..getting them up to scratch.
Like most things..get the ground work in and the finish will arrive easier..
