Good to see i'm not the only one who has used the random orbital sander at the start of refurbishing the shine to alloy rims. They should bring in fines for putting the outside alloy's on the inside though cause it's very hard work to make the mounting face shine like new again > but at least you can bring an alloy back to shine and i must say i think they shine better after they've been let go and then refurbished again.

About Day 14...
Only bits and pieces of progress today..
Some more shiny stuff being produced..
There were a few more parts gathered up today..
A couple more visitors to confirm these blokes are for real! or mad, one of the two!
I think there will be a bit of engine work on Saturday. There is a fair bit of serious stuff being carried out on the cab too......
chocs
This bloke definately turned up on the right day..
Ol Mate was fairly handy when it came to stripping and fitting a few donuts...
Not real bad on the polishing either!
Good on ya mate..done well..
A couple of aircleaners might fit the order...
Now here is a very familiar situation....
A mechanic and a Detroit....Inseparable
I believe Cummins do a good kit for that problem...
Just a quick 'tryout' of some shiny stuff..
At a quick look i thought this was Stuey with some proceeds of a 'bowser run'...

About Day 15..
I think these blokes have got all caught up in the shiny stuff...
There was a little bit of progress today..
Certainly not as much as previous days..
There will be a big effort over the weekend!
Especially when they actually realise there are not that many days to go!
Not many!!! theres only 15 SLEEPS TO GO!
And one of them will be used , just to get there...
Put away them buffs you jockies!..You really need to be back on the spanners...
chocs
This joker has been on the polish all day...
must say though, hes not doin a bad job..
She will be rolling again soon....
Another important piece to the puzzle..
Could be a little bit of modification to the drive guards too..

About Day 16..
Well there has been a bit of progress made today..
It was a struggle to get the boys to put the buffs and polish down..! :
Although looking at the tasks at hand i can understand why!
We might have to get some appropriate lighting too...
todays shots are a bit rough around the edges..
chocs
The Ol Jimmy getting some love..
A bit of prep work on the interior..almost ready for a paint in there..
A bit more attention on the outside..
Hopefully some paint early in the week..if not sooner
