About Day 17..
The boys have had a bit of a crack today...
Been too busy to take the piccys!
Quite a bit of progress made..
A few blokes turned up for a quick look and ended up hanging off a polishing rag..
I have heard a couple of times, that the pressure is going to be on this week..
Can't help but thinking that could be very correct!
chocs
Some really good progress on the cab today..
Coming along nicely..
Hmmmm.. Not sure about that color....
Will that go with yellow?
Suppose it'll be ok if the doors are closed...?
Better keep this bloke in stock....
He knows how to shine em!

I'm with you Andy, that chassis blue is stunning. I'll have a good look at that in Dubbo and may use it on my Diamond REO when it gets done, hopefully between now and the White muster next year.

About Day 18..
Well.....they are startin to mow a few jobs down now!
The 'LIST' is now written out and items are being crossed off as each hour passes..
There are bits n pieces spread to the 4 corners!
It is coming together though...
There have been some serious discussions on the paint theme...
I am in firm belief that the clock will be ticking way too fast for the 'scheme' we originally had planned..
Rest assured though..it will be painted!
If we can get some super tack tape, she might get stripped up on the way across the mountains!!! :
chocs
With some more pipework in place, the airbag suspension is good to go..
Have a look at that!!! Let there be light!
That bit is done too...
With the turntable color matched, its now ready for fitting....
The fitting will be held back for now, allowing access to fit the drive guards etc..
An ally bullbar to finish the front off...
A bit of repair work required here too...
Where did that polisher bloke go?
Look at this! A heater unit....complete with rats!
With a bit of luck this will clean up ok.
There will be a pair of ugg boots and a blanky thrown in for the run to Dubbo if this unit wont go!!
Nothin like cabovers, hot in summer, freezin cold in winter.
The work on the doors continues in the background..
These will probably be handy to keep a bit of breeze out too!

g'day Tacho .. the colour blue looks to be a metallic, and for a long time in the late 70's through to the early 90's we used, from the dulux enamel colour card, radiant blue metallic.... which eventually gave way to bright blue metallic off the 2 pack dulux (acran) colour card....at that point, very little variation between the two
these old colour names are still able to be quoted and mixed with most suppliers.....cheers
ps.. i'm only going by the colour similarity of the posted piccys
