having trouble locating Old Kwikasair SAR's thread :( .... can you post the link please ::)... like to take a look for sure.

as for the engines, again still learning the old diesels and new to the truck world. BUT i do love the sound of the old GM 2 stroke 671 diesel screamers.... heaven!
My other thought too was a TD V8 from an F250 with alison auto....

What diff do these old girls have in them, ratios etc?

i was thinking the same thing, it needs to go back to its original colours and condition, having 'National' and not 'Nationwide' on the door dates it as being at TNT around 1958
