Big red Dodge was created by Hardtopman
After chasing one for a while luck has found me and this big old lady is home safe. Have known about this truck for a while and have tried buying it a few times. I payed a bit of money for it but she all works as she should. Brakes work but need a bit of love as one rear wheel cyl leaks a bit and the vacuum light stays on so there is a leak some where and needed brake fluid before she was drivin. Also the clutch master was a bit sticky from sitting and took a bit of coxing to bleed up to get a pedal. Power steering works great and don't leak and the engine runs like a dream no smoke or noise. Carby needs a bit of a fiddle. Thermostat seams like is stuck as she got a bit hot on the way home and the top hose was sucked in, got up to about 180 on the gauge on the 20kay drive home.
Is build number 107 out of 110 A1075AV model trucks built from 1960-62

Great find there hardtopman. I reckon its always worth pying a bit extra for something you can drive home and start having fun with, without needing a full resto.

Hope this the start of a regular longer topic from you as you take us through your tinkering ;)

Very nice. Were all of those 1075s single drive? Is that 361 the 6.6:1 compression engine?

Not sure but i would say it would be. Same 183bhp as the AT4 361 Not sure about the single/bogie drive but i think anything with a lazy axle or bogie drive would have been added later. I have a 1960-62 Dodge parts book and there is only single drive eaton axles listed.

Yer thats the one, it had moved around a few times since then.
A few more from today after i swapped the rear inner left wheel that was flat. Took it down the local shops and put some petrol in it, will get used to that with a V8 petrol :D

Has had the governor takin off so maybe it would spin a bit harder than 3600 rpm. Maybe it would hit 55-60 mph. No speedo but ive run it up to about 40mph
