Great Dodge, that rust around the mounting points for the front guards seems to be a common problem.
Does yours have the cross steering ie steering box on RHS, just behind the front axle and steering the LH wheel, which then steers the RH wheel via a drag link.

Hardtopman, well bought mate. Just looking at your last photo in the first lot, not often that you see a generator these days. Was just looking at the genny & noticed how close the fan blades appear to be to the genny pulley, are they that close or is it just an optical illusion. Good to be able to drive it whilst you work on it, helps keep up the interest. All the best, cheers Tim ;)

nice pickup!

V8 petrol ain't that bad really! ... little bit of attention to detail in the tuning department goes a long way.

ditch the 8.25 tyres and upsize to 9.00 .... just like having overdrive 8-)

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

No has the normal set up for the steering with the box mounted at the front R/H rail and drag link back to axle. And then the ram pushes from one side of the front axle to the steering arm on the other side. The set up you are thinking was used on the early 48-53 trucks that were out of Canada.
