looking the goods there [smiley=cool.gif] I wouldn't use tongue and groove flooring because there's no room for the wood to expand if it gets wet I try to put wood in green so when it shrinks there's a gap but if it gets wet there's room to grow It dosnt look as neat though

Surely in this day and age there's better knowledge available for laying a tongue and groove floor.
We've all seen them blow when left in the rain and it's a sad sight.
Think there's a body called the Timber Institute, similar to the Concrete authority.
Hell the mixed hardwood T&G floor in my home gets very hilly in Summer and then in Winter it's creaking like crazy.
I'd look into steel "H" section expansion joints spaced at 3 metres max down the deck so there's somewhere to come and go.
On my Freighter semi they cheated and used 1" ply.

Soaking the deck with cheap cooking oil does the trick on a landcruiser brushbox tray, but you need to repeat every so often and don't mind it being sticky for a few weeks after treatment.

maybe spotted gum decking (90mmx19mm)??. Then treat with a 50/50 mix of turps n linseed oil,ive used it for years on the ash deck of my float and is cheaper than all that cabots etc. pre tinned stuff. the deckin boards also have those air grooves on the underside as well to stop warping and rot etc.
screwing it down is the drama, depending on what you have directly under the boards!
cheers rod
