Bedford 4x4 Truck for Sale

Hi all, I have a 4/1978 Bedford 4x4 tray truck for sale.

It has a GVW of 11176kg, diesel engine, cab has rust but nothing a dedicated restorer couldn't fix. I have been told it is maybe ex PMG (telecom) judging by the original orange colour and front bar.

I had a bloke offer me $600 for the motor but i would prefer to see it go to a good home complete. If you wish to buy it and strip it thats fine just don't tell me !!

I am not a huge fan of doing the backwards and forwards negoitiations, so this is why I am setting a reasonable price straight up and will be sticking firm. In saying that i would appreciate some feedback from others in here if you think i am being unreasonable.

We allways appreciate metal recyclers who offer vehicles for sale to restorers / collectors.

Thanks for that Sharpie, i would rather see the old girl go to a new home rather than melted down into a new Kia 3 door hatchback !!

I havent had any lookers yet, and the bloke who wants the donk keeps checking its still here so I have told him if its not sold on here by the end of the week, then the motor is all his. (motor would be going onto a frame to spend its final days screaming its guts out running a kelly and lewis pump )

Anyway for those who have checked it out, dont snooze too long....

does this truck drive ok eg brakes ect could it be driven home on permit thanks Paul
