For Sale 1972 ex NSWFB C1600 Butterbox Fire Truck

I had one myself for a few years, but things changed and she had to go, was a little rocket, but you died of carbon monoxide poisoning every time we took it out.

Fortunatly they are all not like that.
They were / are a good vehicle.

The NSW Fire Brigades had a large fleet of 1810C ACCOs which they had to dispose of rather rapidly a few years ago after it was discovered that high levels of CO were getting into the cabs.

You are never to old to learn something new.
My only experience with acco's was an RFS tanker that i drove for a number of years and we had no trouble with fumes at all. Maybe the fact that it was a single cab with separate crew cab was the reason why. I did not know that about the NSWFB fleet. Thanks for keeping us informed Beaver. Still i hope old mate can sell his as it is a good looking truck. Maybe if you took the exhaust all the way to the back it may help.
