'56 Austin 3t Tipper

This truck started life as a fire truck, however in recent times has been fitted with a very handy tipper body.

It's a 4speed with a 4 litre petrol motor. It's been a great little truck and in the 3 years I have had it has been on trouble free tours with the HCVC as well as gathering quite a few loads of firewood.

This truck will fit in a car sized garage and motors along at 80kmh all day long. It's easy to drive and the simple configuration makes for easy maintenance.

With not much preparation it would be ready for the trip to Alice Springs this year.
