So did anyone make it out to the sale at Gunnedah ??
And if so did they see what the Atkinson went for, if the sale had of been 2 weeks later I would have been all over it but not a chance of leaving the farm at the moment

Before I blow your thongs off with the price. Can you explain what the attraction is in such an under powered engine. I assume the engine has had an influence on the price.

I think its gotta bit a bit more than that, are you telling me the full story? I have ordered the gardner book to hopefully learn more. It went for 47300 incl. to a buyer who does not have a truck licence. These motors appear popular in boats, are they economical. Not many people go into the bottom of a boat to see something a bit different.

Does the Gardner makes that much difference to the price? There are a couple over here in about the same condition but Cummins powered that are for sale for between 10 and 15K and just arent selling, seem no one wants them.

could you please send me the details of those two that wont sell i would be interested in checking them. Are they rigids or prime movers. The gardner one was originally a twin steer which would be perfect.
Is there anything I should be looking for in an old Atkinson. I mean the cab wont be rusty but I'm sure the fibreglass is not faultless.
