"K" model Bedford cabin wanted was created by NV1970
Hi all,
I'm looking for a Bedford "K" model cabin. I have an "O" model cabin to swap if interested. I just need the cabin, doors, bonnet with louvered sides, the grille with headlights and front bumper. May consider the guards. Condition is not important, as long as its OK and not scrap metal!!
I'm in Cranbourne, Victoria.
Call or text me anytime on 0400 064 622. Or just reply to this thread!!!
cheers
Nick

Hi Nick, I have a pair of K Model bare doors minimal rust, bonnet & bumper in reasonable condition.
No louvred side panels.
I’m in Adelaide though. (Long way from Cranbourne!)
I’m getting out of hospital tomorrow & I’ll give you a call.
Cheers

Nick, this is a complete truck but I am thinking perhaps an O just by the length of the Bonnet.
this is the man to ring.... PETE... Lockwood South, (Bendigo)

Thanks for the tip. Yep, that's an "O". Does anyone know what size difference (length) the bonnet is between "K" and "O" models?? I may give this guy a call. My in-laws live in Lockwood South!! thanks

The length difference is one extra row of louvers, but I have a vague idea the cabs are the same apart from the firewall below the plenum. (where the engine backs into the O cab)
But I dont know if parts between english and aussie cabs interchange.
Good Luck.

I'm not having much luck finding just a cabin, so I will consider a complete truck. I've seen a few "K"s on gumtree, but they were all interstate, nothing here in Vic.
I think I will have to put in another "wanted" ad.

G'day Nick, I recon there is a couple of Beddy cabs on the left under trees on Penlink, (as you point towards Frankston)
Ive been watching them for years, never needed them so didnt bother, the farm they are on is now a new development. Just past the fire training ground if I recall. worth a drive i think...
