Werk

The front is NR, not cab, but what about the chassis/axles. They look more modern to me.

With that bonnet and guards, raised centre on the bumper and being 6x6 I go for NM Mack, but although the rear diff looks suspiciously like Mack, I don't recognise the rear suspension as being original and the axle ends haven't got the Mack dome, so as you say probably a "bitza".

Nope, its pretty original, except cab and engine..........rear is definitely Timken, and it has the big pintle,so the chassis is likely right too.............cant see the pics too well..........the Cat could be worth something if its one of the dozer motors, but its more likely one of the DOHC motors that are orphans.......anyhoo ,it closes tomorrow,so I wont be doing something silly....like buying it.

Actually, except for the roof turret and windscreen, the cab looks pretty original too. Just noticed that it has been converted to right hand drive.

For someone who lives local, and has an old R600 and float to cart it home,it might be a steal.........
