I got lots of new Roosamaster 6cyl pumps, but they are all to suit the IH spline drive ,not the common offset slot.

Hello Diggerdave,
There was what I think what you are looking for listed on cockymart.com.au some time ago, it stayed there for a while but is not listed now. Contacting them may get you to the owner.

those Roosamaster Pumps were also used on some John Deere Engines as Well..

I assume you've tried all the Tractor/Header wreckers......

Just had a quick look & There's a couple on Ebay in the U.S.A.

These pumps have a flat plastic flexible disc in the drive system. The plastic is urethane, and the disc turns to crumbly bits with age.........check this disc isnt disintegrated.......my guide with these pumps is that if the motor is hard to start when its hot,and been stopped long enough for the pump and fuel to heat up,then the pump is worn.Another part thats cheap to replace is the vanes in the feed pump ....I cant remember if they have the fine strainer in the inlet fitting like a DPA......but thats worth a check.

Diggerdave, I have a rebuilt Roosamaster pump out of a Fiat-Allis 11,000 series Engine. It is the same pump as the later motor in the bigger Gleaner Header. I don't know if it fits yours. It has done about 600 hours. Can you pm me. Kav.

Hi JOHNK
Thanks for the input,
Yes the ring does crack up and when it does it under load
( read as pulling hard) it locks the pump up and cracked the housing making the pump non rebuildable
Not a nice result
Thanks diggerdave

Ive got a complete housing here you can have if you want it......off a 6cyl IH 282 motor.......had the whole pump in bits.......it was swapped onto a Allis Chalmers grader, but due to a misunderstanding,I got it back in pieces........Incidentally,the IH pump would have fitted and run,IF he had followed instructions to ignore the timing marks......He took it to a pump shop, and it came back in bits......Somehow ,they managed to seize the pumping plungers in the rotor while test running it.
