Allison wanted ...

... for Leyland 4.4 petrol powered Terrier.

Due to some changes, I now only drive auto trans vehicles, so I need to find an Allison AT540 transmission for my Terrier.
Either that or sell it, which I really don't wanna do.
If anyone has one or knows of one please tell me all about it.

I have one ex F600, Cummins powered.
I never installed it, it came with the engine but I do not know the condition. The engine had 270,000 miles on it and looks to have been fairly well maintained.
Problem is I am in West Aus.

I cant see how an Allison would fit a Rover v8.....the tranny would be bigger than the motor.Unless you get something like a Perk 354 with an Allison on it,and fit the lot,I dont see its possible.........I know the bigger Leylands came with Allisons,I worked on a BX5 ,but it had the 6/98 motor.

I have a low km's AT540 in a motorhome. You could buy the lot, drive it back to WA and then do with what you like.
