It's a P14 Pacific that was originally owned by the Hydro Electric Commission of Tasmania... One of 6 tippers they had..... The truck was rebuilt with a cat and Allison trans after it was sold off and worked at the Curragh Mine in Qld.
These Pacific's were some of the earliest 855 Cummins powered trucks in Aus... Actually the trucks the Hydro had before these were the first... They were CCC trucks.

How do I know this? I've just spent the last 6 months doing an in depth article of the 15 officially imported Pacific trucks that came to Australia.... And all 15 started life in Tasmania.

The article will be in VT&C in the near future
