Wanted KM Bedford Cab

Hi everyone, I am going to restore a KM/ERV Bedford and am in need of a good rust free cab if anyone has one or any leads it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, 2strokesrule.

I dont know that there is a lot of differences in those Bedford cabs once the guards and grill are off

But there isnt many rust free ones either
Somerimes its quicker and easier to just fix what we have

Welcome to the forum. As Mrs said, I believe the cabs on most of what are generally known as TK Bedfords, although there are several different models lumped together under that heading, are virtually the same. There were many, many of them around, so you should be able to find one, particularly if you are not in a great hurry. Farm clearing sales are likely to be a good place to start but you will probably have to buy the remains of a whole truck to get the cab. Watch truck and machinery auctions as well, Slatterys in Melbourne sold a KM with a superphospate loader on the back a few months ago for $500 or $550. The cab was very good apart form one rusted door. Maybe you got that one?

Hi Mrs and Morris, thankyou for your input I appreciate it, I did not get the one from slatterys mine is a SWB prime mover that is mechanically very good but the Cab is not so good, I am certainly not in a hurry and will wait for a while and see what turns up. If I cant find a decent replacement I will repair what I have. Ability isnt the problem time is and any time saving decisions are a winner in my book. 2stroke what part of the big wide land do you want your cab to be found in..... might make a difference.

Was looking at it last week when I delivered there

There was a bloke selling a heap of Bedford stuff in Callington SA recently.

Gday Jumbo, thanks for the lead I rang him and he said he only had Jailbar ford cabs not bedfords, Thanks 600dodge I will try and track him down much appreciated, 2strokesrule.

Back Callington road, big yard on the right, it's also a bit of a hardware store/clearance yard.
