International 281 For Sale

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWasn't there someone recently looking for one of these. No connection.

So much information, and with an optimistic price too . . .

Here's a did you know ..if you put a 281 on a hard surface ,like in the pic,it will have a knock when started ,as the front 3 bigends have only a small clearance to the sump,which is made of light guage pressed tin.

Funny, it reminded me of a barge Fairlane, bought about 35 years ago for $300 from memory which was MUCH cheaper than normal because it had a huge knock in the engine . . .

The guy who was buying it knew there was a bolt causing the knock against the torque converter, and fixed it within half an hour. :woohoo:

Quite a few of us have bought ex cfa trucks with ripper newly fitted 281 in them for similar money. We got the fire truck for nothing then!!
