Austin K2 Loadstar Transmission PTO

CC ,these pumps have a carbon face seal ,spring loaded against the impeller..........Its best to replace the assy with a ceramic face seal which can be had from a bearing shop for around $15,the bearings are just ball bearings,from the same supplier.....I used to do a lot of rebuilds of antique water pumps with these seals ,the only downside is they must never be run dry ......the old carbon seal could.................incidentally ,pulley and impeller are keyed with a retaining nut and washer .....no press fits ,easily dismantled .....circlip in front of bearing behind pulley ,dont forget this.
