Online Auction - Deceased estate with Tractors, Trucks and plenty of junk.

this auction in Emerald Victoria has plenty good junk with tractors, forklifts, trucks, excavators, workshop machinery and a lifetime of collecting. Not so sure about the boat.

I agree. Their other online auction is 16.5% and it used to be 11% when they were in person auction on top the GST.

Burns get 16.5% from the buyer and 16.5% from the seller. Take off the GST and they pocket 300 dollars for every 1,000 of sale price....nice work if you can get it.

I think some of the increase is they will be paying the online auction site they have to use now due to COVID a few dollars per sale.

I am watching a couple of items at their other auction currently running and the prices seem a lot higher than what you would see in person.

Used to be that on line was a novelty and people were prepared to pay for the service. Auction Plus paved the way and now there are others doing on line clearing sales with no buyers premium.
