Wanted a Thornycroft M4 engine for a project

Attachment not found

1919 J type truck, these engines are cast in pairs and are also monobloc type, the thornycroft script is cast onto the alloy inlet manifold and engine sidecovers so they are easy to i/d, the M4 was made from around 1914 into the mid twenties
any help appreciated,
Thanks in advance, mike in nz.

That and other engines went to England. Trouble is more than a few Poms are prepared to show the colour of their money while there only a very few Anzacs into the old jiggers.

Hi steven thanks for reply, im not afraid to pay up for an engine as i have the rest of the truck plus lots of spares, frustratingly theres one here i know of just rusting into the ground and they will do nothing with it!, such a shame but thats how it goes sometimes?
