Best I can make out guessing early 20's. Not much info on the Karrier make before the Rootes buyout. Pretty rare, even in England

As far as I know, or think I know, Karrier joined Commer-Car (a truck maker from about 1908) that morphed into Commer before joining Hillman/Humber/Commer/Sunbeam etc. That may have been before or at the Rootes group merger.

I would buy and restore that Karrier except for three lots of twenty things:-
1. If I was 20 years younger
2 If I had 20 times as much mechanical and technical ability as I have now
3. If I had 20 times as much money as I have.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Karrier was independant as was Commer until the depression and it was then that Rootes went collecting these and other failing companies.
