AB 120 4x4 series BOOK

I have a 2 books on Ebay for sale about the International AB 120 4x4.
One of them I wrote my self. The other book is in German, about the same TRUCK.

I got your book today.Only just had a chance to skim through it, but it looks like a good read. It must have been a great adventure to have at 15 years old.

thats great news. Yes the trip was very special and something that can not be done today. Even if you could drive half way around the world, its not the same as back in 1969.

As soon as you drove outside of Sunshine ( Melbourne ) the roads to turned to dirt, let alone the outback. Here we worried about hitting Kangaroo's, in India it was dumb cows and Oxen carts.

Just read Gus's book, a great story. You were lucky to get the chance to do that at 15 and looks like the AB120 stood up well. What happened to it after your trip ?

sorry for the delay in my response, I was interstate.

After the six month journey, the AB 120 4x4 was housed in Stuttgart (Germany) for sometime while I was doing my apprenticeship. We decided to send it back to Australia to a Mr Tom Sanders in Melbourne.
I'm still looking for that person till this very day, because the truck disappeared and he vanished with it. Unfortunately. I'm glad you liked the book, and the DVD. The film took nearly a year to put together onto DVD because it was shot on 16mm color film. But silent. And the sound was added nearly 37 years later.
