Thanks Geoff, that sure does bring back memories.
Whichever company you decide on, it would be best to find out what livery and logos they used at the time the truck was new and replicate that. Oil companies were notorious for changing their images at regular intervals.

Hi Geoff,
My grandparents and uncles had the AMOCO, and later Esso, fuel depo at Menai in Sydney. It was finished way before my time and I don't think I've even seen photos of tanks like that, but as a kid I vividly remember 44's painted in that scheme doing duty around the place as fuel drums, feed bins, incinerators, water tanks etc etc etc...
I have a docket book around here somewhere from the mid 60's with Super being sold for $16.01 for a 44

The larger tanks, which were mounted longitudinally on the deck had "Amoco" lettering on the side, in the white band. Can't for the like of me remember whether these small ones did .

I used to watch in awe at the depot workers spinning full 44's around the depot with one hand with a leather glove on it. Boy could they walk them around!!!
