....put the feelers out, see what you can get by with, and i'm pretty sure the whole truck resto movement will back you to the hilt..... have a decent crack at it ....cheers mate

Thank you for your nice comment about my photo. The truck your father drove looked very smart with that colour scheme and the scroll work. It would be great if you could find a truck the same and recreate the photo.

There is an AACO 180 for sale on Ebay at the moment, it looks OK and that model does not come up for sale very often.

Over the last five years I have been looking for photos of trucks with fuel delivery tanks similar to the ones I had. Last night I found this photo on Google Images and I 'borrowed' it (purely for educational purposes of course} but in my excitement at the time I forgot to record where it came from. I think it was probably on Flicka. Can anyone tell how I can find it again, short of trawling through thousands of photos again. The truck appears to be RHD so the photo was probably taken in Australia.

Thank you. It is the 10th photo on the first website you suggested. I can now give the credit to the owner of the photo. It is titled "TOTAL Ford re-fueller. Gloucester. NSW. Ian Ramsay, Photographics. The photo was taken 27th April 2014.

So as I thought it was taken in Australia.
