1965 Commer Knocker

Id say the Federal 604 and the diesel Diamond T had the same brakes .......sometime about mid war (1944?) they changed from the 17& 3/4 " dia drums to the later standard 16&1/2" x 6" brakes that trucks had up to the late 60s ....now they are 7 " wide ..........some of the old pommy busses had massive brakes ,as much as 8" wide shoes .
