I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Does anybody remember the ancient TV show "Dr Kildare" he lived in an International motorhome called "The Whale" it looked like this one but if I remember correctly, it was a lot longer.

No Morris I don't, probably because we didn't have tele, it was only when signal boosters came a long, about the time my kids were little we had a television at home, grannies in town was the only one we got to see. There was quite a few of those vans around our area in various rolls, one school bus, you don't see many now which is a bit odd, being inter they would still be about, they last forever.
ps. TVs annoy the shit out of me to this day, if my wife goes first, I will chuck them both on the tip.

All the ones I've seen in the last 20 years have suffered heavy rust in the bodywork, making them pretty much worthless. Mechanically sound like most Inters, but very poor body design in the van part.

You might want to rewrite your post where you said “I’ll throw them both on the tip”. I take it that “both” means both TVs, no wife and TV.
