Might be a bit high in the price range, anyone with memory or connections to one of those would be in the exit door of collecting. Most collections are based on teenage desire's or on life experience and peaks with the finances of the collector, a TD Bedford would be on the downhill run for desirability. You have to remember the next generation an't goanna want what we got, it's a case of sell now or half your money. I would not give five for it, it's not iconic like a T model and it not even something my dad would have drove.

I agree that the asking price is probably optimistic, but the rest of your post is purely your opinion. Lots of businesses, large and small made a lot of money from Bedfords and lots of drivers/owners still have a soft spot for them.
You don't usually buy an old truck as an investment, as so few are.
You mention the T model, at least you can drive a Bedford in modern traffic fairly safely.

Yes but, when we are gone, who is going to buy the shit, I have a little pile of old Bull Dozers, when I am gone there is only one place they will be going, turned into something useful, you are looking at the picture with you in it, I am looking at the picture with us both on Boot Hill. A T model is an iconic marker in history and will always have value

I'm thinking you are looking as a fatalist where I'm seeing things as a realist. The old half full/half empty syndrome. Each equally valid.
Steve.
