I suspect there is a typo in the year on the ad. They were still making R models in the US (and AR models in Australia) in 1954

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!

Inter factory history site says the S series started mid 1955 as a facelift and only minor changes to the R series.

Grafton is a bit far for me ......ad says its Perkins ,and a working truck........good buy for someone looking for an inter.
