Ripe for Lang's next expedition, although I suspect he is hanging out for the tandem drive version.

It could be of interest as Michael Terry used the 4 wheel version in two later expeditions into the centre of Australia. Unfortunately I don't want to drive around in a big circle (he was leading a geological team looking for minerals) retracing his steps no matter that he was the first vehicle in those areas.
Pretty well set on the Port Hedland to Melbourne run through the centre with 6 wheelers.
Here is Terry at The Olgas in a 4 wheeler like this one advertised.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I am at least ten years too old to take on the 1924-1926 model and more than twenty years too old to join the Port Hedland to Melbourne run.
Otherwise, who knows what might have happened?
