Nothing special about this except the ramps. What a brilliant set-up to eliminate belly scraping on the angle between the ramp and the deck. Also eliminates nose touching the bottom of the ramp while loading super low cars. If you play with the geometry on an imaginary car you will see how good the shape is.



 

Here are some light weight ones that allow you to load a ride-on mower into a box trailer. Normally impossible with straight ramps and 50mm clearance without lifting the back up to get it over the angle.

There are continuous arch ramps which get halfway to the solution but the "S" ramps have all the correct changing geometry as you roll forward.

 

The loading ramps on Lorry were bent by an idiot trying to overload the truck by loading a 16 ton dozer. The straight ramps bent down. 
When I got him home I took them off n flipped them over so the bend now went up like an arch. It was a dream to drive anything up onto.
