S Model Bedford Crane was created by Lang

Just looked at that non-slew crane and realised you would need muscles in your eyebrows or serious power steering for many jobs. Front springs must have short-travel blocks to stop sag under load.

Back in the 50's, local truck company, White and Andrews, had an S model 4x4 with an Isles Forge Engineering full slewing crane. The crane was made in Coffs Harbour.
They used it to transfer loads from trains at the local railway and everywhere else it was needed.
Funny, but as a kid, I thought it was an old truck at the time.
