I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Not a truck but a car.
1996 Mercedes Benz 230E Four cylinder petrol automatic. Elegance model top of the range.
Midnight blue. Registered until 18/9/2025/ No roadworthy certificate. Done 374500 kilometres
Several faults including:-
Rust in front passenger door, wipers not working. (may be only a fuse) numberplate lights not working, ignition switch worn, plastic bumpers broken., clear coat flaking.
Not the best vehicle around but where else can you get a registered Mercedes Benz for $500?
Don't all rush me but phone me on 0427 095 984.

Car sold, pending delivery and payment. Proves anything will sell if the price is right.

Thanks Paul,
It served me well, I owned it for eleven years and the only time it let me down (my Wife actually, she was driving it) not long after I bought it and was about an hour from home when the serpentine belt shredded itself. The RACV tilt tray bloke was excellent; he bought her and the car home. I fitted a new belt and all was well.
My Wife did have a lot of trouble explaining to the girl on the phone at RACV that while she was on a North/South Highway, she was in a crossover and not actually on either the Northbound or Southbound carriageways. The Towie had no trouble finding her, though.
Yes, I have bought another second-hand Murky Bender, they are more reliable than other makes.

Thanks for the thought, Mammoth but I have bought a 2015 B200. Boy does it have some different controls to the 230E and the Vito. I am still getting used to it. It cost a lot more than $2800, though.
You will probably be told to make a new topic under For Sale and Wanted, as I was.
