Sounds like an imagination of history using a sound chassis.
More interested in the fire engine in the back ground.

I reckon Mammoth has it.
Years ago, a Reo truck from the 1920's owned by the late Michael Kerrigan had a bus body built on it for a movie. It was quite well done except that the windows were far too large. It was bought by a large bus company as a museum piece. On second thoughts, maybe they had the bus body built?

my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,

I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I would say he is pretty accurate. Lots of photos of similar design and he could have done an exact copy. Here are a couple to show the style actually existed.

Steve, I had a drive of one of those Chryslers a few years back (in car form). Quite superior to nearly everything else of the day in power, speed and ride.
