Id say this truck is ex RAAF fuel tanker ,l Bobby Addison had one with very low miles ,unfortunately when he got older he got some silly ideas ,and cut the truck in half "to make it easier to move" .........he had a lot of good AEC and Leyland trucks tat ended in te scrap when he died .........long time ago I bought two cab over GMC 4x4s AFK 352 s off im ,that must have come in the Dec 1941 shipment. You couldnt buy anything off him without spending hours and hours listening to his b/s stories ..............he never did any work ,but had some incredible good luck that kept him in serious money ,and he lknew everyone to do with Leyland and AECs in the 1950s and 60s
