Blitzes like that used to be common once ....forklifts and cranes .....its still a cheap way of taking a forklift to a job.

The only blitz crane that I’ve seen was made by someone who knew how to build things, that is cobbled together rubbish that whilst it may have worked, it doesn’t look like it was built by someone who knew what they were doing

If you call that mobile machinery ,you can get a rego for limited use with a roadworthhy that only checks lights and brakes ,and no further inspections.

What are you saying John, you don't think it would pass a machinery inspection?

Sometimes, that's all that matters. The fella may have been manhandling everything before hand and it a thousand times better.
Looking at the size of the fork and widths, and background, I'm thinking possibly used for big bales of wool.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Maybe a Falklift is what they use in the Falkland Islands? Ha Ha.
What worries me is how a Bedford truck gets called a Holden Ute.

Wool bales are usually picked up with grabs, ours will pick up two at a time, tines run the risk of stabbing and tearing the fabric of the bale.
